Obstacle Sensor/Detector – PLL Based

The Obstacle Sensor detects objects and obstacles in front of the sensor. The sensor continues to transmit infrared light, and when an object approaches, the sensor detects it by monitoring the reflected light from the object. Daylight has no effect on this sensor. It can be used in robots for obstacle avoidance, automatic doors, parking aid devices, or security alarm systems, or as a contactless tachometer by measuring the rotational speed of rotating objects such as fan blades.
