The pH electrode probe offers dependable reading accuracy and can deliver nearly immediate pH value readings, making it suitable for use in water purification procedures. This pH sensor probe can be refilled, allowing the user to extend the lifespan of the sensor by refilling its KCl (potassium chloride) salt solution. However, it is important for the user to be cautious and avoid spilling the salt solution, as this could affect the sensor’s functionality.

The salt solution is used as a differentiator for the sensor to compare its pH level with the measured liquid in order to generate a precise change in output that can be interpreted by most controllers. Because the solution may be refilled, you have the option to replace the solution if it becomes contaminated. Refilling should be done when the solution in the probe tube is less than 2cm.

The probe features a BNC connector that can be used with most types of PH metres and controllers. It is appropriate for many applications, such as aquariums, hydroponics, aquaponics, and laboratories.
