The MAX98357 I2S 3W Class-D Audio Amplifier Module is a compact, high-efficiency digital audio solution designed for modern embedded systems. It accepts pure digital audio via the I2S interface and directly drives a speaker—no external DAC required. By integrating a high-quality I2S DAC with a powerful Class-D amplifier on a single board, it simplifies your audio design while delivering clear, powerful sound output.

By default, stereo signals (left + right) are automatically mixed into a mono output. If needed, the module can be easily configured using a resistor to output only the left or right channel.
