The DHT22 (AM2302) Temperature and Humidity Sensor Module is a high-precision digital sensor designed to measure ambient temperature and relative humidity with excellent accuracy and long-term stability. It features a calibrated capacitive humidity sensing element and a thermistor, combined with an internal microcontroller that outputs a digital signal through a single-wire interface. Compared to the DHT11, the DHT22 offers a much wider measurement range, higher accuracy, and finer resolution, making it ideal for weather stations, home automation, IoT projects, HVAC systems, environmental monitoring, agricultural applications, and industrial control systems. It is fully compatible with popular development boards such as Arduino, ESP32, ESP8266, Raspberry Pi, and STM32.
