The PCF8574T I2C I/O Expansion Board Module is an 8-bit remote I/O expander that allows microcontrollers to expand their digital input/output pins using the I2C communication interface. It is based on the PCF8574T chip and is compatible with popular development boards such as Arduino, ESP32, ESP8266, and Raspberry Pi.
Using only two I2C pins (SDA and SCL), the module provides 8 additional GPIO pins. Up to 8 modules can be connected on the same I2C bus, allowing expansion up to 64 digital I/O pins.
